The Blame Game

I am fairly confident, without looking at any numbers or any data at all really, that the amount of energy and money being used to discuss who did this and who didn't do that or somebody didn't do this fast enough or whatever, would have been better spent recovering from the actual disaster. Unfortunately it is more entertaining to watch high ranking officials be scrutinized than it is to watch people suffer while they hope to be saved.

On a side note...who else thinks its hilarious when they have the videos about people driving into gas stations amidst rising gasoline costs worries... shot from a helicopter?

Richard: SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH "Well Donna you can see people just continue to use gasoline as much as ever, even though it costs around 3 dollars a gallon...maybe this will cause people to start moving towards smaller cars." SWOOSH SWOOSH SWOOSH

Donna: [mutters] Or at least stop using helicopters.

Richard:
SWOOSH SWOOSH "What was that I couldn't hear you over this gigantic engine" SWOOSH

Donna: Nevermind.
