Back to School...Back to Thinking

Howdy everybody. As I have always said. Joel was the perfect way to keep the blog alive through my downtimes. Hopefully since I am back to school I can attempt to blather endlessly to you good people.

I have been working out an idea in my head that I plan to turn into a paper by the end of the term.
The concept is basically a paper about how civic leadership and personal and economic freedom go hand in hand. Essentially proposing the concept that in order for the maximum number of personal freedoms to be maintained...all parties must be leaders or find leaders to defend their values. It is a simple concept which I hope to apply specifically to transitioning economies.

Nothing revolutionary here (not to say anything else I have written ever was) but I just wanted to throw the idea out there. Perhaps for no other reason than to make sure I do not forget it myself.
